A counterpart to 4 Urban Contests, this piece takes the visual and narrative form of its precedent, yet examines generosity, compassion, and selflessness. What danger lurks in the urban environment? How far will one player go to “save” the other? Are the rescues the act of a selfless person or a martyr? An escalating sense of danger and showmanship in each subsequent rescue exposes the theatricality inherent in heroicism.
